Replacement Research Flight Control Computer Assembly (RFCCA) for the Rotorcraft Aircrew Systems Concepts Airborne Laboratory (RASCAL)-X Flight Testing Description The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Redstone is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to determine if other sources are capable of satisfying the requirement. This acquisition is to support the completion of the Rotorcraft Aircrew Systems Concepts Airborne Laboratory (RASCAL) X program. The Contractor will support the customer with 2 to 2.5 engineers, as required, to accomplish the integration of the Research Test Bench (RTB) into the US Army’s Development Facility and the integration and testing of the Research Flight Control Computer Assembly (RFCCA) into the RASCAL X aircraft at Felker Field at Fort Eustis VA. The intent is to acquire services through issuance of a Task Order under contract W911W6-18-D-0001with a period of performance of twelve (12) months. The intended source is The Boeing Company, 5000 E. McDowell Road, Mesa, Arizona 85215-9707. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541715. No solicitation will be issued. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market research is voluntary and the Government will not reimburse any costs incurred for providing a response. This notice is not a request for proposal; however, if your firm has the potential to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: (1) Organization name; physical email and website address; telephone number, business size and CAGE code and/or DUNS number; (2) detailed capability statement with any supporting documentation to substantiate claims of capability, experience and past performance. The Government will evaluate all responses to ascertain market capability to determine if there are other firms which can provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice. Responses to this notice are due no later January 18, 2022; 3:00 p.m. EST.
