The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Redstone is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to determine if other sources are capable of satisfying the requirement. This acquisition is for Engineering Investigations of Category I Product Quality Deficiency Reports for Boeing AH-64 Components. This effort is for performing an expedited 75 calendar day Engineering Investigation (EI) of suspected CAT I Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs). CAT I deficiencies have the potential to cause serious injury or death, the Government considers each CAT I EI to be an urgent task. All required analysis and reporting will have a target completion date of no more than 75 calendar days after receipt of the exhibit (deficient components), PQDR, and disposition instructions. The Government will select and forward the exhibits to be analyzed. The intent is to acquire services through issuance of a Task Order under contract W911W6-18-D-0001with a period of performance of twenty-four (24) months. The intended source is The Boeing Company, 5000 E. McDowell Road, Mesa, Arizona 85215-9707. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541715. No solicitation will be issued. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market research is voluntary and the Government will not reimburse any costs incurred for providing a response. This notice is not a request for proposal; however, if your firm has the potential to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: (1) Organization name; physical email and website address; telephone number, business size and CAGE code and/or DUNS number; (2) detailed capability statement with any supporting documentation to substantiate claims of capability, experience and past performance. The Government will evaluate all responses to ascertain market capability to determine if there are other firms which can provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice. Feedback to responses will not be provided. Submission Instructions: All responsible sources may submit a written response which will be considered by the agency. Responses to this notice are due no later June 1, 2021; 3:00 p.m. EST. Offerors who wish to submit a response to this notice shall request a drop off not later than 48 hours prior to the response due date by sending an email with the subject ‘Drop-off Request – CAT I PQDR AH-64’ to jessica.r.sexton3.mil@mail.mil and laurie.a.pierce2.civ@mail.mil.
