This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for new diesel engine model 4TNV84T-DFM, 4 cylinder, 2.0 liter, NSN: 2815-01-538-4257, P/N: 97-24004, CAGE: 30554 U/O the 15 kW Tactical Quiet Generators (TQG) MEP-814A (400Hz) and MEP-814B (400Hz). The current source for the diesel engine is Yanmar Diesel America Corp., CAGE A0K42. Configuration drawings are available. Detailed technical data for the manufacture of these units is not available from the Army. Describe your company’s experience in managing obsolescence issues. Does your company maintain a Program and Assessment Tool to monitor and analyze the availability of components to allow clear and precise tracking of all obsolescence issues? If so, please elaborate on the Program and Assessment tool(s). Describe your company’s experience in identifying the alternatives for the unavailability of obsolete materials or components to mitigate obsolescence issues.
