This Request For Information (RFI) is being issued for market research purposes ONLY and shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ) or as an obligation on the part of Washington Headquarters Services / Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD). In order to proactively plan for future requirements, WHS/AD is conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested other than small and small business concerns such as: 8(a) Certified concerns, Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) concerns, Service- Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSBs) and Economically Disadvantaged Women-owned Small Businesses (EDWOSBs)), are encouraged to respond to this notice. In addition, WHS/AD is performing market research to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications from capable vendors, to provide services for Voluntary Education (VolEd) Support Services. This is not a solicitation announcement. This notice neither constitutes an RFP/RFQ, nor does it restrict WHS/AD to a specific acquisition strategy. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. This RFI is being released by the Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) / Acquisition Directorate (AD) on behalf of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness (OUSD (P&R)). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code assigned to this procurement is: 541611- Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services. This acquisition is a follow-on to Task Order Number HQ003420F0484 under Contract number HQ003415A0024, awarded to Guidehouse LLP. The estimated period of performance for this requirement is for a base period of 12-months with four (4) 12-month option periods with an estimated value of $14.6 million. Please reference the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for specific details as it pertains to the requirements of this notice. If an RFP/RFQ is issued, it will be issued by the appropriate Government Contracting office and posted to the appropriate Government Point of Entry (GPE). The Government will not pay for any information provided in response to this RFI. All information provided is for Government planning use only. If proprietary information is provided, please mark as Proprietary for Government Use Only. The Government will NOT reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in the response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate, including using technical information provided by respondents. Any information submitted by respondents is strictly voluntary. No questions or phone calls will be accepted for this RFI.
