Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources capable of qualifying and producing a Valve Assembly, Directional Pilot and Pressure Switch (DPV), NSN 4820-01-554-6411UC, P/N 320522-17, for the C-5 aircraft. Honeywell International Inc. owns the drawings and data rights and has licensed them to Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing. The Government does not own releasable technical data for this item, and Ontic is the only known source with the required knowledge, data, capabilities, and C-5 Thrust Reverser performance experience to ensure compatibility and maintain GE engine warranties. The Government intends to procure the item using Other Than Full and Open Competition as a sole-source action.
