Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources capable of qualifying and producing six F-15 Armament/MUSTANG NSNs/PNs. These parts support the MUSTANG tester and three F-15 Armament Testers: the Stores Management System Test Set (SMSTS) A/E24T-198, Stores Management Sub-System Test Set (SMSSTS) A/E24T-197, and Armament Circuits Preload Test Set (ACPTS) A/E24T-199. Boeing is the original equipment manufacturer and the only known source with the required knowledge, technical data, drawings, facilities, and expertise because the Government does not own releasable technical data for these items. DLA intends to award a sole-source contract to Boeing for manufacture of the listed NSNs/PNs, and the parts list cannot be divided into multiple sub-groups for bidding.
