Request for Proposal - 20mm F-16 Ammunition Handling Set - NSN:1005-01-190-9802
The government is seeking offers for the production of the 20MM Mechanical Housing transfer unit for the M61A1 gun, supporting the F-16 aircraft program. This is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) procurement with up to three contract awards, including two set aside for small businesses, with each contract consisting of five 12-month ordering periods. Offerors must be aware that CMMC Level 2 certification is required due to ITAR-controlled technical data and CUI, must be active and verified in the Supplier Performance Risk System at the time of award, and flows down to all subcontractors handling CUI. First Article Test requirements may be waived for offerors who have previously supplied the same or similar items with satisfactory performance within the past 36 months, and applicable CDRLs would be removed in such cases. Additionally, the item is classified as a Critical Application Item, requiring a Source Approval Request that remains valid for 7 years from the approval letter date.
