SUBJECT Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the Circuit Card Assembly (CCA), NSN 5998-01-558-6693EW, PN 452776-3. ITEM DESCRIPTION This is a complex CCA including 20 programmable microcircuits and miscellaneous other microcircuits and electronic components. IMPEDIMENT TO COMPETITION The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for this item was EDO Corporation, now doing business as L3Harris Technologies, Inc. (CAGE 00752). L3Harris maintains the circuit card by part number. The Government does not own the data, drawings, schematic or any other technical data in support of this requirement. As a result, L3Harris is the only known source with adequate knowledge of the circuit card design and performance requirements. L3Harris is the only known manufacturer that owns the required technical data and that has capabilities needed to produce this item and ensure compatibility of the asset within the ALQ-161. INTEREST The DLA/AWB Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract to L3Harris for the manufacture of the CCA. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 25 Oct 2024, by emailing Daniel Gochenaur at daniel.gochenaur.4@us.af.mil and/or April Walls at april.walls@us.af.mil. The Government intends to procure these items using Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
