The Global Hawk - RQ-4 weapon system is a high-altitude, long-endurance unmanned aircraft, designed to provide high quality Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) information to joint forces worldwide. The components being purchased under this effort support the Air Vehicle (AV) portion of the system. All four NSNs are Acquisition Method Coded 3/R, meaning all are sole source to actual manufacturer, and the government does not possess data rights to these items.
