This is a one-time FMS procurement of the Radar Transponder in support of the C-130 and UH-1N Aircrafts. The proposed contract actions will be contracted sole source to Raytheon, CAGE: 06845, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1). NSN: 5841-01-656-1177, P/N: 40739100-530, NOUN: Radar Transponder. ITEM FUNCTION: combined Mk XII/Mode S/Mode 5 capability transponder enables aircraft to operate seamlessly throughout international, civil, and military airspace, meeting all Identification Friend and Foe and ATC requirements. ITEM MATERIAL: Aluminum. ITEM DESCRIPTION: LENGTH: 8.6250 in; WIDTH: 5.420 in; HEIGHT: 5.420 in; WEIGHT: 10.0 lbs. QTY: 15 Each DESTINATIONS: DIS002; DIS004 IUID Checklist is applicable to this requirement DELIVERY: 90 Days ARO A written RFQ will be issued. The anticipated award date is: 30 June 2022 The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requitement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis/solicitation will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Based upon market research, the Government is anticipating using the policies contained in FAR Part 15, Contract by Negotiations, in its s olicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement within 15 days of this notice.
