The government intends to solicit and compete with only a limited number of sources, and General Electric Company is currently the only known approved source. A letter request for proposal will be posted, and qualification requirements apply, with award only made to qualified sources. The government will not delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests. If competition is received, a revised solicitation will be posted.
