First Article (FA) testing is required fo... This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the procurement of an Aircraft Exhaust Duct for the F100 engine. First Article Testing is required for this item. First Article (FA) testing is required for this requirement. However, FA testing is waived for the OEM and offerors who have previously furnished production quantities of the same articles for the Government (provided not more than 36 months have elapsed since completion of the contract and articles thus furnished have exhibited satisfactory performance in service in the opinion of the Government). If an offeror(s) is interested in becoming qualified, solicitation SPRTA1-20-Q-1755 will be amended to add FA testing line items and revise sections L & M for evaluation of offerors.
