The Air Force is seeking commercial spares for a KC-46 navigational light (NSN 6220-01-653-4086, P/N 72303249-1), with a line-item quantity of 11 each and an acceptable range of 2–17. The item provides underwing illumination for aerial refueling and covert operations and is currently sourced from Grimes Aerospace Company; the Government does not own the data or rights needed to manufacture it and intends to solicit/negotiate on a sole-source or limited-source basis, though responsible sources may respond. The acquisition is not set aside, and the solicitation will be available electronically via SAM.gov. Delivery is required on or before November 9, 2027, to destination SW3211, and award is anticipated 90 days after issuance of the notice.
