The Government plans to issue a solicitation for a Linear Augmentor used on the F-100 engine to support and secure rear compressor variable inlet vanes, made of nickel alloy. The requirement is for Line Item 0001: 16 each BEQ, with a minimum of 4, medium of 18, and maximum of 27. RTX Corp (52661) is identified as the qualified source, and award requires the offeror, product/service, or manufacturer to meet qualification requirements at time of award. Electronic procedures will be used, with only written or faxed requests accepted and no telephone requests; export control applies, Free Trade Agreements are involved, and FAR Part 12 commercial-item policies will not be used.
