DLA is issuing an RFP to add three NSNs/part numbers to the existing Alpha VI Indefinite Delivery Requirements Long-Term Contract, supporting the Patriot Missile System and other critical defense systems. DLA anticipates a Letter RFP to add three spare parts for the Patriot Missile Weapon System to the existing DLA-Raytheon subsumable contract under the Alpha 6 Umbrella Contract, with pricing established for a 3-year period. The parts are a circuit card assembly, a modular electronic unit chassis, and an electronic frequency converter; the contract would require design, build, supply, and related functions such as inventory management, forecasting, distribution, storage, reliability improvements, engineering maintenance, and design control. The action is sole-sourced to Raytheon Company as the OEM due to proprietary requirements, with no other known sources. All offerors must meet prequalification/source-approval requirements through the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation & Missile Center’s System Readiness Directorate. The acquisition may include export-controlled technical data that cannot be released outside the U.S. without Government approval, and foreign firms must process solicitation requests through their embassies.

This is a sole-source procurement of a circuit card assembly for the Patriot Missile System, with Raytheon as the original equipment manufacturer. The part will be added to existing DLA-Raytheon umbrella and subsumable contracts, and no solicitation is currently available. Interested parties must meet prequalification requirements and seek source approval from the Army's engineering authority.
