This Sources Sought Synopsis is market research, not a solicitation, to identify potential manufacturing/supply sources and assess competitive or small-business set-aside options for multiple items supporting the Patriot Weapons System. DLA at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, seeks qualified sources; the acquisition is currently a limited-responsible-source procurement under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), and all business categories are encouraged. Offerors must meet prequalification requirements and seek engineering source approval through AVMC DEVCOM’s System Readiness Directorate/Sustainment Division. The contractor must handle recurring and nonrecurring engineering to become qualified plus all manufacturing/production aspects, including supply chain, logistics, parts forecasting, long-lead procurement, obsolescence, and final delivery. Foreign firms must process requests through their embassies; export-controlled and possibly classified data apply, and Table 2 items may be procured for Foreign Military Sales.
