This is a Sources Sought Synopsis, not a solicitation, for DLA market research to identify potential manufacturing/supply sources and assess whether future efforts can be competitive or set aside for small business for multiple items supporting the Patriot Weapons System. The Defense Logistics Agency at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is seeking qualified sources, with engineering source approval governed by the U.S. Army CCDC AvMC DEVCOM System Readiness Directorate, Sustainment Division. The items require engineering source approval by the design control activity and are currently limited to approved sources due to unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge; all offerors must meet prequalification requirements. Interested firms—including 8(a), small, small disadvantaged, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HUBZone, and Women-Owned small businesses—are encouraged to seek source approval via the provided email, and the contractor would be responsible for recurring/nonrecurring engineering plus all manufacturing/production aspects, including supply chain, logistics, forecasting, long-lead procurement, obsolescence, and final delivery.
