The Defense Logistics Agency at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is conducting market research through this Sources Sought Synopsis to identify potential manufacturing/supply sources for multiple items supporting the Patriot Weapons System. No solicitation is available, requests for solicitation will not receive a response, and the acquisition is currently expected to rely on a limited number of responsible sources under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). All offerors must meet prequalification requirements, and interested businesses—including 8(a), small business, small disadvantaged, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HUBZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns—are encouraged to seek source approval through AvMc DEVCOM’s System Readiness Directorate. The contractor will be responsible for recurring and nonrecurring engineering services plus all manufacturing/production aspects such as supply chain management, logistics, parts forecasting, long-lead procurement, material forecasting, obsolescence, and final delivery.
