The Government proposes to acquire 32 Control Panels (see below for further details) for the M109 Paladin and Assault Breacher Vehicle (ABV) to create a firm-fixed price, one-time buy (OTB) type contract. This will be placed on the existing subsumable contract (SPRRA220D0012) in support of the Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) Program Office. NOMENCLATURE: Control Panel, IVS P/N: 7002924-1 NSN: 5836-01-556-9104 QUANTITY: 32 This item is restricted to: DRS NETWORK & IMAGING SYSTEMS, LLC, CAGE CODE: 32865. As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 having only one responsible source. The data needed to acquire these parts competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Contractors are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by emailing inquiries to the POCs listed with this announcement. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
