This requirement will be added to the On-Point Defense Technologies LLC/DLA Huntsville Spares Subsumable long-term contract, SPRRA2-23-D-0015 which falls under the On-Point Defense Technologies LLC/DLA Enterprise Umbrella contract, SPRRA2-23-D-0004. The Government proposes to acquire a quantity of 4 of STRUCTURAL COMPONENT, NAICS Code: 336415, NSN: 1440-01-6770492, Part Number: 13710840 applicable to the IMPROVED BRADLEY ACQUISITION SUBSYSTEM. The estimated Production Lead Time (PLT) with First Article Testing is 330 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to FORT WALTON BEACH, FL, 32548-3885. The estimated Production Lead Time (PLT) without First Article Testing is 270 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to FORT WALTON BEACH, FL, 32548-3885. This item is restricted to: ON-POINT DEFENSE TECHNOLOGIES LLC: 6MD81 AMSC C: This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) having only a limited number of responsible sources. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
