The Government intends to acquire a three-year Indefinite Delivery Requirements contract for a minimum quantity of 9 units of Carrier, First Stage, NSN 1615-01-112-2995, Part Number 145D0104-3, for the CHINOOK Weapon System. This item is restricted to The Boeing Company, Boeing Distribution Services, Inc., and Heligear Acquisition Co. d/b/a Northstar Aero; the Government does not own the data rights needed to qualify additional sources and reverse engineering is uneconomical. Offerors must meet prequalification requirements, and firms that can produce the item or seek source approval are encouraged to identify themselves. Production lead time is 9 units at 990 days after contract award with First Article Testing, or 9 units at 660 days after contract award without First Article Testing. Deliveries will be to Tinker AFB, OK 73145-8000, and foreign firms must process solicitation requests through their respective embassies.
