This Sources Sought Synopsis is for Defense Logistics Agency market research at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, to identify potential manufacturing/supply sources for a Central Controller (NSN 1560-01-722-3028, Part No. 724VS203-2) supporting the CHINOOK weapon system. The proposed NAICS code is 336413 with a 1,250-employee size standard, and the Government is interested in all business types, including 8(a), small disadvantaged, SDVOSB, HUBZone, and women-owned small business concerns. Because the Government does not own and cannot obtain the necessary data rights, and reverse engineering is uneconomical, the acquisition is currently limited to a limited number of responsible sources under FAR 6.302-1(a)(1).
