The Defense Logistics Agency at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is conducting market research to identify qualified sources for a Borescope Kit, Engine, NSN 6650-01-234-1896, Part Number 6650-T700-003, supporting the T-701C (UH-60/AH-64A) Blackhawk weapon system. The item must be acquired from the manufacturing source(s) specified on a source-control or selected-item drawing because the Government lacks suitable technical data, data rights, or manufacturing knowledge to allow acquisition from other sources or qualification of another part. The acquisition is being pursued under FAR 6.302-1(a)(1) due to a limited number of responsible sources, and the Government encourages participation from all businesses, including 8(a), small, small disadvantaged, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HUBZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. Interested contractors must meet prequalification requirements and may seek source approval through AvMC’s public website; they will be responsible for recurring and nonrecurring engineering to become a qualified source.
