The Government proposes to acquire on a 5-year indefinite delivery requirement (IDR) firm-fixed price contract, for a minimum quantity of 5 each with an estimated maximum quantity of 20 each of a PARTS KIT, FUEL TANK; NSN: 1560-01-577-6981; Part Number: HM022-509-600 applicable to the CH-47 Chinook weapon system. Production Lead Time (PLT) with First Article Testing is 5 each, 630 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to TEXARKANA, TX 75507-5000. Production Lead Time without FAT is 420 DACA with deliveries to TEXARKANA, TX 75507-5000. Forecasted quantities are 1st Year 5 each, 2nd Year 5 each, 3rd Year 5 each, 4th Year 5 each, and 5th Year 5 each. This item is restricted: 100% Small Business This item is suitable for competitive acquisition for the second or subsequent time from the indicated approved source(s) of supply. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part nor use of a second source part in the intended application. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves.
