LTC Synopsis NOTICE TYPE: Pre-Solicitation TITLE: A NSN for A-BL; A-CG Auxiliary Ground Power Unit for the CH-47 Chinook Weapon System, Sole Source, Long Term Contract OEM Honeywell International No telephone requests will be accepted. This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term strategic/sole source contract which will include a single NSN to support the A-CG Auxiliary Ground Power Unit for the CH-47 Chinook Weapon System. A single (1) NSN 2920-01-180-0447, Part Number 2117404-4-8, Noun Control, Unit, Electrical is targeted for this contract effort. The proposed action is intended to be on a sole source basis with various contracts issued to other associated Contractor and Government Entity(s) (CAGEs) as supported by a J&A IAW FAR 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. The proposed sole source contract will be issued to Honeywell International CAGE: 02LU7. Items provided by the following Honeywell International CAGE Codes are covered by this acquisition: 91547, 02LU7, 99193 and 81996. The proposed requirement will be for a total of five (5) year’s period of performance. Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This is proposed to be a FAR 15 effort. The proposed contract will be a firm fixed price (FFP) corporate Indefinite- Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The above mentioned item has been identified for this current action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. This item is being added to SPE4AX-22-D-0003 Honeywell International, Sole Source Long Term Contract, Requirements Type Contract, awarded to The Honeywell International in accordance with the originally approved J&A. However, the NSN identified here was not included in the list of original items synopsized for this effort. The contract requires supply of parts, as well as other functions including but not limited to inventory management, forecasting, distribution, storage, reliability improvements, engineering maintenance and design control affecting these parts.
