The Government proposes to acquire, on a 5-year Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Requirements type contract, a minimum quantity of 33 each with a total estimated annual demand of 60 each of a TANK ASSEMBLY,FUEL, NSN: 1560-01-564-2584; Part Number HM029-610-21 applicable to the BJ, AH-64 Apache weapon system. The estimated Production Lead Time (PLT) with First Article Testing (FAT) is 270 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to DODAAC: W25G1U for New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002. PLT without FAT is 180 DACA deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002. This item is restricted to ROBERTSON FUEL SYSTEMS, L.L.C., Cage Code 1T765. The technical data for this part has undergone full screening per the DFARS PGI 217.7506, Spare Parts Breakout Program. The assigned AMC/AMSC is 4D. The Government will acquire this item, for the first time, directly from the manufacturer. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) having only a limited number of responsible sources. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves.
