Direct your r... LTC Synopsis NOTICE TYPE: Pre-Solicitation TITLE: Multiple NSNs for A-BE; CH-47 Chinook Weapon Systems, Long Term Contract OEM The Boeing Company. This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term strategic/sole source contract which will include multiple NSNs to support the A-BE: CH-47 Chinook weapon systems. A total of three (3) NSNs are targeted for this contract effort. The proposed action is intended to be on a sole source basis with various contracts issued to other associated Contractor and Government Entity(s) (CAGEs) as supported by a J&A IAW FAR 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. The proposed sole source contract will be issued to Boeing Company, CAGE: 77272. Items provided by the following Boeing Company CAGE Codes are covered by this acquisition: 0APX0; 0PXV4; 38YR6; 94756; 18441; 48BM4; 48LF5; 43999; 81205; 82918; 8V613; 76301; and 77272. The proposed contract will be for a total of ten (10) years period of performance. Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This is proposed to be a FAR 15 effort. The proposed contract will be a firm fixed price (FFP) corporate Indefinite- Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for one five (5) year base period and one five (5) year option period. The attached lists of NSNs are the items that have been identified for this current action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. These items are being added to contract SPRRA1-22-D-001U, awarded to The Boeing Company, CAGE Code: 77272 in accordance with the originally approved J&A. However, the NSNs identified here were not included in the list of original items synopsized for this effort. The contract has a maximum of ten (10) years remaining. The contract requires supply of parts, as well as other functions including but not limited to inventory management, forecasting, distribution, storage, reliability improvements, engineering maintenance and design control affecting these parts.
