Forecasted/estimated quantities: Year 1: 300 each Year 2: 400 each Year 3: 400 each Year 4: 400 each Year 5: 400 each Production Lead Time (PLT) with First Article Testing (FAT) for VALVE ASSEMBLY, ANTI:NSN: 2995-01-652-3514, P/N: 5066T38G09 is 30 each, 540 Days after Contract Award (DACA) and PLT without FAT at 360 DACA with deliveries to TINKER AFB, OK, 73145-8000. This requirement is restricted to HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL INC, CAGE CODE: 59364, AND GENERAL ELECTRIC, CAGE CODE: 99207. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity’s procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is in support of Market Research being conducted by the Defense Logistics Agency to identify potential manufacturing/supply sources, and if future efforts can be competitive or Set Aside for Small Business. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 336412 which has a corresponding Size Standard of 1,500 employees. The contractor will also be responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing/production process, including but not limited to: supply chain management, logistics, forecasting of parts, long-lead parts procurement, material forecasting, obsolescence issues and final delivery of assets as well as any and all additional costs incurred resulting from contract performance.
