The Government proposes to acquire on a One Time Buy (OTB) contract with a quantity of 250 each of a STARTER, ENGINE, GAST, NSN: 2995-01-679-5217, Part Number: 36E144-12B applicable to the BE-U BLACKHAWK weapon system. Production Lead Time W/KTR FAT is 50 each, 540 Days after Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to (W62G2T) TRACY, CA 95304-5000. This item is restricted to PARKER HANNIFIN, CAGE CODE: 59211. Acquire, for the first time, directly from the actual manufacturer. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves.
