The Government requires 12 units of NSN 7R-6610-016863523-KB, TDP version 001, delivered FOB origin. This is a source-controlled/selected item that must be acquired from or repaired by previously approved Government sources because suitable technical data and data rights are unavailable for alternate-source qualification. The item is flight critical and requires Government source approval before contract award; only previously approved sources have been solicited, and new-source approval generally cannot delay award. Unapproved sources must submit the information required by the applicable NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure for spares or repair and, if a source-approval request is pending, a copy of the cover letter forwarding that request; incomplete submissions will not be considered. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1, may proceed based on Fleet support needs if source approval cannot be timely processed, and is not using FAR Part 12 commercial-item procedures.
