Offerors must provide newly manufactured spares only; refurbished, remanufactured, or repaired items are unacceptable and ineligible for award. Only government-approved sources of supply are acceptable, and offers from non-approved sources will be deemed technically unacceptable. Distributors of approved sources must submit an authorized distributor letter on the source’s letterhead via email to the buyer point of contact with their offer. Critical Safety Items, source inspection/product verification testing, and Contractor Business Systems clauses are incorporated by reference as applicable.
