The Government intends to negotiate a sole-source, new-spares requirement for two units of a flight-critical NSN component, delivered FOB origin, with no drawings available. Only previously approved sources have been solicited; alternate sources must complete NAVSUP WSS engineering source approval, submit required Source Approval Brochure data with their offer, and note that new-source approval timing generally cannot delay award. Award requires the offeror, product/service, or manufacturer to meet applicable qualification requirements at the time of award under FAR 52.209-1. The acquisition will not use FAR Part 12 commercial-item procedures. Interested parties may still identify commercial-item interest and capability to the contracting officer.
