NAVSUP WSS intends to negotiate a sole-source, new-spares purchase for one each of a flight-critical item, FOB origin, with no drawings available and only previously Government-approved sources solicited. The item is commercial/nondevelopmental/off-the-shelf, but offerors must meet Government source-approval and qualification requirements at time of award; non-approved sources must provide the complete source-approval data specified in the applicable NAVSUP WSS Spares or Repair brochure with their offer, or offers may be rejected. Approval of a new source is not expected to delay award, and award may proceed based on Fleet support needs if source approval cannot be completed in time. The Government is not using FAR Part 12 commercial-item procedures for this acquisition. Interested parties may identify commercial-item interest and capability to the contracting officer within 15 days of the notice.
