This is a Critical Application Item solicited under EAF authority, with synopsis waived. Offerors must provide government-approved source material unless the requirement is for P-8/P-3 Platform commercial items readily available on the commercial market, accompanied by current FAA Form 8130-3 airworthiness documentation and new unused OEM stock. Distributors of approved sources must include an authorized distributor letter on the source’s letterhead with their offer, and non-government-approved sources will be deemed technically unacceptable and ineligible for award. All non-P-8/P-3 offers must be newly manufactured spares only; refurbished, remanufactured, or repaired material is not acceptable. The item also requires AS/EN/JISQ 9100 or equivalent quality compliance and a 12-month warranty, with defects discoverable up to 45 days after discovery.
