DLA-Aviation is seeking newly manufactured spares only; refurbished, remanufactured, or repaired material is unacceptable and ineligible for award. The solicitation is issued under EAF/SEPA authority, incorporates the Critical Safety Items DFARS clause and, as applicable, Contractor Business Systems requirements, and drawings are not available. The affected parts are wholly owned by FMS customer countries, are non-CLSSA assets, and will be delivered to a domestic U.S. freight forwarder for shipment to the country of record rather than entering the DoD supply chain. Approved sources are required, and distributors must submit an authorized distributor letter on source letterhead via email to the buyer point of contact.
