This procurement is for six units of a part that requires engineering source approval by the design control activity to maintain quality. The item must be acquired from approved source(s) because they possess unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing/repair knowledge, along with data rights or technical data not economically available to the Government. An alternate source must qualify under procedures approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity with jurisdiction over the part. Delivery is FOB origin.
