This DLA request for quotation is issued under Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities (formerly Special Emergency Procurement Authority) and requires offerors to be government-approved sources of supply; non-approved sources will be technically unacceptable and ineligible for award. Drawings are not available. Any distributor of an approved source must submit an authorized distributor letter on the source’s letterhead to the buyer point of contact via email. The requirement includes an ISO 9000 or equivalent higher-level contract quality requirement and a one-year warranty from date of delivery, with defects to be reported within 45 days of discovery. FMS delivery and shipping instructions are specified as TBD.
