This is an FMS spares requirement issued under Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities. Drawings and technical data are not available, and Government source approval is required; offers from non-approved sources will be technically unacceptable. Dealers/distributors of approved sources must provide an authorized distributor letter on the manufacturer’s letterhead to the buyer. Only newly manufactured spares are acceptable; refurbished, remanufactured, or repaired material is ineligible. A 12-month warranty applies with defects to be reported within 45 days after discovery, and the non-CLSSA FMS assets are delivered to a domestic U.S. freight forwarder for shipment to the customer country and are not entered into the DoD supply chain.
