This is an Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities requirement for newly manufactured spare parts only; refurbished, remanufactured, or repaired material is unacceptable. Drawings and technical data are not available, and Government source approval is required. Offers from non-approved sources will be technically unacceptable and ineligible for award. Dealers/distributors of approved sources must submit an authorized distributor letter on the manufacturer’s letterhead to the buyer via email with their quote/proposal. The requirement includes a 12-month warranty, with defects to be reported within 45 days after discovery.
