This federal contract covers item unique identification and valuation, fixed-price supply inspection, higher-level quality requirements, stop-work authority, value engineering, and liability limits for high-value items. Alternate sources must qualify under procedures approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. Award will be made only if the offeror, product/service, or manufacturer meets the qualification requirements at time of award under FAR 52.209-1.
