The Government is acquiring 165 each of NSN 7R-3040-015696951-EY (TDP VER 007, REF NR 514762-8) with delivery FOB origin. This is a critical application item requiring engineering source approval by the design control activity. Approved sources possess unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing/repair knowledge and retain data rights or technical data not economically available to the Government, making the part essential to maintain quality. Alternate sources must qualify under the design control activity’s procedures as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity, and drawings are not available.
