The approved source(s) retain data rights or technical knowledge essential to maintaining part quality, and approval time for a new source is normally too long to delay award. If not already an approved source, the bidder must include with its offer the documentation specified in the applicable NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Source Approval Information Brochure for Spares or Repair. Offers that fail to provide all required source-approval data, or that do not document prior submission of that data, will not be considered for award. Quantity is 8 EA with delivery FOB origin, and if source approval cannot be processed in time or approval requirements preclude timely availability, award may continue based on Fleet support needs.
