This is a Critical Application Item for 15 EA with delivery FOB origin, requiring FAA-certified parts accompanied by an FAA Authorized Release Certificate, FAA Form 8130-3 Airworthy Approval Tag. Only government-approved sources of supply may offer; offers from non-approved sources will be technically unacceptable, and distributors of approved sources must submit an authorized distributor letter on source letterhead to the buyer point of contact. Only newly manufactured spares are acceptable; refurbished, remanufactured, or repaired material will be ineligible for award. The part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity, and any alternate source must qualify under procedures approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity; drawings are not available for this RFQ. Government inspection and acceptance will be conducted at source, with DLAD Product Verification Testing and DFARS Contractor Business Systems clauses incorporated by reference as applicable.
