DE-ICING CONTROLLER
DLA is seeking FAA-certified aviation spare parts with an FAA Authorized Release Certificate (FAA Form 8130-3 Airworthy Approval Tag), and only government-approved sources are eligible; distributors of approved sources must provide an authorized distributor letter on source letterhead with their offer. Only newly manufactured spares will be accepted—refurbished, remanufactured, or repaired material is not eligible—and the higher-level quality requirement is AS/EN/JISQ 9100 or equivalent. Government inspection and acceptance may be performed at source, with Product Verification Testing and, as applicable, Contractor Business Systems clauses incorporated; drawings are not available and IUID is not required for these commercial items under the PMA-290 plan. The contract carries a 12-month warranty for noncomplex supplies, with defect discovery to be reported within 45 days, and payment will be through Wide Area Workflow using an invoice/receiving report combination. Electronic offers are to be submitted via email to the buyer point of contact, and the action is issued under EAF/SEPA authority.
