This opportunity is for newly manufactured spares only; refurbished, remanufactured, or repaired material will not be accepted. Only government-approved sources of supply will be considered technically acceptable, and distributors must submit an authorized distributor letter from the approved source at the time of proposal. The spares are non-CLSSA FMS assets delivered to a domestic U.S. freight forwarder for shipment to the customer country, so IUID marking requirements are waived. Contract quality requires AS/EN/JISQ 9100 or equivalent, with various inspection, compliance, and supply-related clauses incorporated. The acquisition is being expedited under emergency acquisition flexibilities due to urgency.
