This is a small business set-aside acquisition for three each of a commercial/off-the-shelf, flight-critical item, delivered FOB origin. Government source approval is required before award, and only previously approved sources have been solicited because full and open competition is not supported by the available technical data. New sources must submit the data required by the applicable NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure with their proposal, and offers that do not provide all required data or document prior submission will not be considered. Approval of a new source normally cannot be completed in time to avoid delaying award, and if source approval cannot be processed in time or requirements preclude timely delivery, award may proceed based on Fleet support needs. The acquisition is 100% set aside for small business, with the specific set-aside type to be identified in the solicitation.
