This procurement is for newly manufactured spare parts only; refurbished, remanufactured, or repaired material will not be accepted, and drawings are not available. Suppliers must provide FAA-certified parts with an FAA Authorized Release Certificate (FAA Form 8130-3 Airworthy Approval Tag), and offers from non-government-approved sources will be technically unacceptable. Distributors of approved sources must submit an authorized distributor letter on the source’s letterhead to the buyer, and the contractor must meet a higher-level quality requirement of AS/EN/JISQ 9100 or equivalent. Government inspection and acceptance may be performed at source with Product Verification Testing, and a 12-month warranty applies with defects to be reported within 45 days after discovery. IUID is not required for these commercial items due to existing 737NG/P-8A traceability, and invoices/receiving reports are to be processed through Wide Area Workflow.
