This procurement requires newly manufactured FAA-certified spare parts only, with an FAA Authorized Release Certificate (FAA Form 8130-3 Airworthy Approval Tag). Only government-approved sources of supply are acceptable, and distributors of approved sources must provide an authorized distributor letter on source letterhead to the buyer point of contact via email with their offer. Drawings are not available, and offers from non-approved sources will be deemed technically unacceptable and ineligible for award. Critical Safety Item requirements, Contractor Business Systems, and possible source inspection/acceptance with Product Verification Testing apply. A 12-month warranty applies, with defects to be reported within 45 days after discovery.
