Only government-approved sources or authorized distributors, with an authorized distributor letter provided to the buyer, are eligible, and drawings are not available. Packaging must follow commercial practices with traceable packing lists, components must be marked with part number, manufacturer/CAGE, and lot/serial, and a standard commercial warranty of at least 12 months with a 45-day defect discovery period is required, including workmanship, replacement parts, and technical support. No military-unique CDRL or IUID is required for these commercial items unless otherwise specified, and Government inspection/acceptance may be at source with Product Verification Testing.

This opportunity covers two units of NSN 7R-1680-015855106-P8, a commercial off-the-shelf item, with delivery FOB origin. The item is flight critical and requires Government source approval prior to award, so only previously approved sources have been solicited. New sources must submit all required Source Approval Brochure data with their proposal, or their offer will not be considered. If a new source approval cannot be processed in time, the Government may proceed with award based on fleet support needs.
