RADOME ASSEMBLY
This contract requires FAA-certified parts bearing an FAA Authorized Release Certificate (FAA Form 8130-3 Airworthy Approval Tag), and only government-approved sources of supply are eligible; offers from non-approved sources will be deemed technically unacceptable. Approved distributors must submit an authorized distributor letter on source letterhead to the buyer at the time of proposal submittal. Only newly manufactured spares are acceptable—refurbished, remanufactured, or repaired material will not be considered—and drawings are not available. The higher-level quality requirement is AS/EN/JISQ 9100 or equivalent, source inspection with Product Verification Testing applies, and a 12-month warranty is required with defects reported within 45 days of discovery. IUID is not required for these commercial items due to traceability of 737NG common and P-8A noncore items already recorded in the DoD IUID Registry.
